Wil-Trans TTT course is designed to give experienced Wil-Trans drivers the information, knowledge and support for mentoring new Wil-Trans apprentices to be knowledgeable, productive and safe participants in the transportation industry.
During Wil-TTT classes we look at conflict resolution, course outline, forms used, record keeping, personality types, learning types, hours of service issues, and defensive driving concepts and how to successfully communicate these to the apprentice.
Wil-Trans Trainer Requirements and Standards:
- A satisfactory driver for Wil-Trans
- Prior training experience could be substituted for time at Wil-Trans
- Possession of an unrestricted Commercial Drivers License
- A satisfactory driving record for five years
- Complete company training for Driver Finishers based on ITCC/PTDIA “Train the Trainer” course or similar training program
- An ability to get along with people and communicate well
- Proficient at building customer relationships representing Wil-Trans
- Presents an acceptable appearance and demeanor as a Wil-Trans representative
- Proper attitude toward training and Wil-Trans
- Defensive Driving Course completed at Wil-Trans
These standards are applied so we can look to the professional drivers in Wil-Trans' fleet to guide us to the best possible selection, maintaining the integrity of the program and giving the best possible training experience to the apprentice.
